Bitcoin Mining Difficulty

The Bitcoin mining difficulty indicates how difficult and time consuming it is to mine a Bitcoin block and find the right hash for each block. Essentially, a metric, or measurement, used in the process of Bitcoin mining indicating how difficult it is to solve a complex, arbitrary, cryptographic puzzle.
